The x-rays below illustrate the initial process of implant placement for partial coverage of an area in the mouth. This particular patient will have a crown restoration on each implant to help restore ideal function in this area. By restoring the lower two teeth with implants, the patient will keep the upper teeth from supererupting (drifting down).
